But really, I've been playing Halo: ODST(Got all the vidmasters too! I haz Recoooonnnzzzz~) and Mass Effect(I thank one of my awesome xBoxLive friends for yelling at me about how much I'd like it until I rented it. And I loved it so much I bought it.), and a bunch of other awesome games my Mom got for me (I'll review them in a bit), so I really haven't been drawing very much or logging in places recently. I'll try and get some stuff posted soon, but this month I'm booked with all sorts of activities.

Halo: ODST
At first when I heard about it I wasn't so hyped(I didn't play Halo very much then), but as I watched previews for it I got a bit more spazzy and bugged my Mom to take me to GameStop to preorder it a week before it came out.

The storyline I liked quite a bit. It just seemed a tad bit short, but there where a lot of scenes that made up for it: such as the scene with the Brute Cheiftain jumping down and hammering Romeo and then his teammates pwning the crud outta it. I was giggling when the Rookie tried to straighten out that sniper. XD The characters I all loved(especially the Rookie even though he didn't talk) except for Buck. I didn't mind him at first, but then when I was getting the last level vidmaster with my friends done when we all just decided to hate him for no apparent reason and blame every time that we died on him. And now I can't get over disliking him. 8l The engineers I really like too. I had an entirely different image of them when I read the books, but I LOVE how they made them look in this game. I find them quite adorable in their own odd way. 8P They can be a bit annoying in firefight mode though.

Firefight is the most fun I've had playing a game in a good while. Even if we DID die a lot trying to get the Endure achievement. I don't care if I already have that achievement for level so-and-so, KEEP 'EM COMING AND LETS BLOW STUFF UP. *Pulls out rockets*

One other thing I liked about ODST: the pistol. I always choose the pistol over the SMG or any weapon just because I think it's THAT AWESOME.




Mass Effect
The best roleplaying game I played was Star Wars: Knights of the old republic, JUST because of the awesome discussions you can have and the good/evil choices you could make(and I love Star Wars, but lets not count that. And yes I know the games are both made by BioWare. 8P). This came beat it by a freaking landslide, and is the best $15.00 I've spent on a game(so far. 8P). The story is entertaining to the point where I've played it 2 1/2 times already, and I plan to play it even more times. I like how the background story you choose effects how certain characters interact with you, and how you get different quests to do depending on your choice. Most of the characters have so much personality in them and that makes me squee with so much joy that I freak out anyone I'm chatting with when I'm playing it~ Garrus and Wrex are the most interesting characters in my opinion (Garrus being my absolute fav. <3). Heck I think Turians and Krogan are awesome in general, but I just love those two.
The only thing that bugs me is that there's only ONE guy they give Femshep as a romance option who happens to be my least favorite. And I don't mind the Asari at all (heck I chose her/it for my Renegade character), but I just wish there was at least one other guy character. I wanted GARRUS, but then I found out he wasn't an option and cried. D8 I just did the romance subplot with Kaiden for the achievement, then I started over after I beat it to make everything just how I want for when I get Mass Effect 2. I'll make a Biotic Manshep after I'm done with my main again. :3




Gears of War & Gears of War 2
I can't get enough of how fun this shooter is. I rented these two before, but I saw them for a cheap price when I went to preorder Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Dragon Age: Origins, and decided to just go ahead and buy them. The freakin Berserker on the first one scares me so much. And games rarely succeed in making me scared (unless it's Silent Hill or F.E.A.R 2. Those ones make me jump every time). I hate how the Carmines die in each one because they are faves. Especially Benjamen. He was such an adorable clutz. *Shakes fist at giant worm*

Horde I have as much fun playing as firefight. I only have gotten to wave 40 so far. And I don't play the multiplayer very often. I get my butt kicked EVERY TIME I even try. I only have a chance if my team is MUCH higher ranked than me. But I'll still die a lot either way, so I just don't play multiplayer at all so no one gets mad at me for being so bad at it. D8
